Danish Mid-century Modern stools in oak and cane

Sigfred Omann, member of the Danish cabinet maker family Omann based in Ølholm, Denmark, designed this beautiful stool in the 1950s. His own furniture factory, Ølholm Møbelfabrik, founded by his father Niels in 1892, produced the stool.

In terms of design, the stool is a fine example of Danish Midcentury Modern Design with its elegant frame in oak and the seemingly floating seat in woven cane.

I am offering the stools in restored condition, the joints have been re-glued, the wood has been re-oiled and the seats have been re-woven with new cane.
