Plaque Murale by Dutch Artist Corneille

Unique and original Wall Plate in glazed ceramic designed by the Dutch artist Corneille in 1998 and made by atelier JM Foubert, Paris.

Corneille is known as one of the founders of the expressionist art movement Cobra (1949-1951). He was influenced by Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Paul Klee. From 1960 he started to develop his own unique figurative style using bright colors. He placed everyday subjects like birds, cats, women and trees in mythological and often childlike contexts.
